Our program is designed for individuals seeking to start a career as a
Certified Massage Therapist or those in the massage or medical field looking
to expand their knowledge through continuing education classes.

Program Description
The Certified Massage Therapist, with Medical Massage and Bodywork Specialties, is a premier Certification program for learning manual therapy techniques that help someone achieve their physical and mind/body connection goals. This program provides you with training to help people relax, reduce stress, optimize performance, recover from injury, and feel better to heal faster during an acute illness or post-surgical recovery.
Students choosing this program will have the distinct advantage of gaining a thorough theoretical foundation, assessment techniques, hands-on application of multiple clinical treatment techniques, recommendation, instruction for client self help, and clinical experiences.
Upon graduation of the 750 hour program, you will have gained effective, outcome based knowledge and skill to be able to work in any setting. Some examples of potential employment options are: acute hospital, chiropractic clinic, rehabilitation clinic, eastern healing arts spa, or private practice.

The following is a list if courses that make up the 750 hour Certification Program. In each course, you will gain knowledge of the history of the technique, the related anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, contraindications, and application of all techniques. Class hours are a combination of Lab and Clinical hours.

Relaxation/Swedish Massage: 48 hours**
Chair Massage: 24 hours**
Hand & Foot Massage: 15 hours***
Reflexology: 60 hours^
Deep Tissue Massage: 120 hours*
Sports Massage: 120 hours*

Intro to Spa Massage Treatments: 78 hours*
Special Population Conditions: 60 hours*
Manual Lymphatic Drainage: 30 hours*

Pre-requisite requirements
*40 hours of Relaxation/Swedish Massage
**High School diploma or equivalent and minimum 15 hours of anatomy/physiology
***High School diploma or equivalent
